Purpose/Scope of Position
The account executive is responsible for the sale of Patriot Technologies products, training and services to assigned DoD territory. Makes and develops contacts at all levels of the organization with existing and potential customers. Analyzes existing and anticipated customer’s requirements and promotes Patriot Technologies products, services and solutions to fill such requirement. Prepares and participates in the preparation of account sales plans and campaigns, business plans, and product development plans. Conducts sales presentations. Maintains up-to-date and accurate sales records. Maintains technical proficiency and consults with prospective customers regarding use of Patriot Technologies products and services. Quotes prices and delivery dates and demonstrates and provides instructions on the use of products. Keeps informed of new products and their information of interest to customers. Investigates new applications or improvements to products. Provides marketing intelligence to sales management and may participate in the development of sales forecasts and strategies.

- Proven experience in selling to DoD and familiarity with existing DoD contract vehicles and IT requirements
- Strong presentation and communications skills
- Ability to develop relationships at all levels of an organization
- Strong technical writing abilities
- Account penetration and Account management knowledge
- Knowledge of IT security products a plus
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in business, technical field or equivalent
Experience
- Demonstrated 7+ years of professional technical sales experience with enterprise information security products, training and services
- A demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Sold products or services that typically cost in excess of $25,000 that are multi-step and take several months
- Made sales involving multiple buyers, users and influencers
