PURPOSE/SCOPE OF POSITION
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) supports the sale and marketing of information security products, training and services to existing and prospective customers via inbound calls, outbound calling and email campaigns. Responsible for resolving customers concerns around products, training, services, maintenance renewals, billing and delivery. Responds to incoming calls and email requests from customers and vendors and is responsible for the quoting, forecasting and order processing within a dedicated account base. The ISR is part of an account team consisting of one or more outside Account Managers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training
A college degree or equivalent work experience
Experience
- Demonstrated 2+ years of inside sales experience in a computer or IT related field
- A demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Sold products or services that typically cost in excess of $10,000
- Experience with GSA and/or information security products and services a plus
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Business writing abilities
- Professional telephone skills
- A clear understanding of sales process, how to build a pipeline and the closing process
- Skilled at identifying and qualifying opportunities
- Skilled with MS Office applications
- Ability to work with various CRM and accounting software packages
