COO Promotion and New Senior Business Development Manager

Frederick, MD, October 17, 2007—Patriot Technologies today announced the promotion of Jorge Diaz to Chief Operating Officer and the hiring of David Moynihan as Senior Business Development Manager.

Mr. Diaz was hired in December 2006 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and since then has grown the company to a year-over-year increase in revenue of 25%. According to Bruce Tucker, President of Patriot Technologies, “Jorge has surpassed my expectations of his original role. His leadership, strategic vision and sales execution made it clear to me that he has earned the right to run the day-to-day business.”

As COO, Mr. Diaz will be responsible for managing Patriot’s rapid growth profitably, addressing the opportunities and challenges of the company and for hiring the best professionals available to accomplish strategic objectives.

Patriot also announced the hiring of David Moynihan as Senior Business Development Manager. Mr. Moynihan is responsible for growing and developing the Security Appliance Manufacturing (SAM) business unit. In addition, he will manage System Integrator relationships across the company and be focused on Patriot’s relationship with the Department of Homeland Security.

Mr. Moynihan was most recently Business Development Director for SteelCloud and has held various senior sales and sales management positions at Peregrine Systems, Symbol Technologies and Wang Laboratories. He is a retired colonel from the U.S.M.C. who served as an infantry officer in Viet Nam, and holds an MBA from George Washington University and a BS from Rochester Institute of Technology.
